As I began thinking about playing along with the 2024 Spoiled Rotten Photography Personal Projects, I knew the subjects I wanted to focus on. The bond that Savannah has with our dog, Daisy. Daisy and Savannah will both miss each other next year when Savannah heads off to college!
I came across this image on Pinterest that displayed the bond between a girl and her dog. I loved the evening golden light and the shallow depth of field.
While we didn’t catch a light filled evening, this is our backyard version with a little magic added for fun. I played around with a new to me 100 mm lens. I love the merge of the tiny pines trees that have taken over in the back of our yard, that look more like a forest.
This is the original of my favorite image, but knew it needed a little extra sparkle.
